Our Founder
Tony Hitchcock began his facility operations career during his junior year of college. As a Student Athletic Facilities Manager, Tony learned the importance of operating an efficient physical plant, campus safety department, athletics, and all other non-teaching departments of educational facilities. Tony further developed his expertise by working as an Event Crew Manger for Palace Sports & Entertainment. During his time at PSE, their venues were the most utilized in the country. PSE was also a league leader in attendance for the NBA, WNBA, and AFL during Tony's time there. This fast paced high volume environment allowed Mr. Hitchcock to develop his unique ability to identify potential liability, and benchmark practices and procedures that insured the success of the company.
After his tenure with PSE, Tony went on to manage interscholastic athletics and facility operations for The Leona Group and Allen Academy. Tony also coached college basketball for fourteen years, winning a national championship with the University of Windsor as an Assistant Women's Basketball Coach in 2015. In addition, Mr. Hitchcock has served successful stints as a nonprofit department head and Program Director. His unique blend of skills and experiences helped him to form Integrated Operations Services, LLC. IOS is a full service educational facility operations management company providing services for Michigan schools.
Our mission is to reduce those responsibilities that keep educators from their true calling, which is educating our nation's children. Principals and other administrators should not have to concern themselves with:
-
Cleaning Restrooms
-
Scheduling Operations Staff for Events
-
Building Repairs
-
Traffic Flow and Parking Problems
-
Transportation Scheduling
-
OSHA , City, and State Building Compliance
-
Development of Emergency Response and Crisis Planning
-
Management and Development of Athletics and After School Programing.
In today's data driven educational field, school leaders are expected to be instructional leaders. That focus can be lost with their secondary duties that prevent them from developing their teaching staff, meeting their school district's obligations in regards to testing, and maintaining their district's academic competitiveness. IOS eliminates distractions, and allows school leadership to put the focus back on the classroom. Thanks for considering IOS for your school and we hope to partner with you in the future."
